- Overview
Webster’s defines “Apogee” as “the highest point or the culmination of a set of activities”. True to its name BITS-Pilani’s Annual Technical Festival encompasses and transcends the boundaries of science and technology, bringing to you a truly enriching experience. It is with the concerted effort of its student fraternity and the support of the institute that, this year we embark on a land-mark 31st festival of its kind, overcoming every little hurdle on the way and raising the bar just that little bit higher each year.
Beginning on the 15th March, all the way through to the finish on the 19th, this 5-day fest will bring together participants from across the length and breadth of our country. With a multitude of events lined up in various categories, as you can see for yourself, “APOGEE-2013” will seek to keep you on your toes for as long as you are here. Following in the foot-steps of Jimmy Wales, Stephen Wolfram, Rachel Armstrong and Tamer Nakisci, many more reputed guest lecturers – scientists, technocrats, entrepreneurs, et al – will grace the occasion this time around.
For those of you who may want to take a break from the clanking of nuts and bolts and crackling of electronic-circuits, a plethora of quizzes, debates and cultural events will be sure to keep you occupied.
In a nutshell, APOGEE 2013. Be there.
