Camera Trails
This is an on-campus event aimed at testing the understanding of techniques used in photography.
Event Format
At the start of the event, each participant will be given a picture and a place which basically, is the problem statement. The picture is a clue for a technique in photography. The participants are required to identify the photography techniques used in that particular snap and reproduce these techniques on a set of snaps clicked by them during the duration of the event. Three such clues will be given during the course of the event
.
Rules
• Teams of maximum two.
• Only one set of pictures is allowed per team.
• The final submitted entry must be the original work of the photographer and every team is required to submit one snap per clue.
• The entry may be a digitally enhanced version of the unprocessed snap using Photoshop or any other photo editing software but elements in the snap may not be added or deleted.
• The entry must be in jpeg format with a minimum size of 1200X800 and a resolution of 300dpi and named ‘PicNo._Technique_TeamName_CollegeName.jpg’ and submitted to organisers before specified deadline.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding on the participants.
