Checkmate
A contest designed to test the mental aptitude of the contestants. Whether you know C, Java or not, it doesn't matter. What matters is your perseverance to get out of unforeseen situations. As we give a new language to work with, be prepared to navigate yourself out with any witty ideas or sheer simplicity. Only coders are not what we want here but any enthusiast would surely qualify.
Format of the contest comprises elims and finals.
Elims
The elims will have a set of questions to test the basic understanding and application of simple logic.
Finals
This round will judge contestant's capability to work in an unknown language in a completely new environment. The contestants shall be provided with a booklet containing the basic syntax and functions of the language to be used. They will then be provided with the problem statement and will have to write a code in the given language to achieve the stated objective.

Rules
• Teams of maximum three.
• The Elims will be of 90 min.
• Three teams will qualify for the finals, which will be of two hours duration.
• The detailed rules and regulations & the evaluation criteria shall be explained On-Site.
